Beginning this upcoming Monday expect a new fresh view and voice. Travis is going to the American Birding Association’s “Camp Colorado” to join 21 teen-aged birders and 8-9 adult mentors  for intense birding and educational programs from professional ornithologists, field guide authors, editors, professional tour leaders, etc.

The younger birders will be taking turns carrying our Traveling Trinovid and will be sharing their daily discoveries and highlights over the next weeks in their own words right here.

Given the many, varied habitats covered (from high alpine tundra down to low prairie grasslands and everything in between) you can expect that there will be great varieties of wildlife encounters!

As sponsors of this important program, Leica will have many binoculars and spotting scopes on hand to insure folks are enjoying the best views possible. Although, none as noteworthy as Travis.
